Inspired by the series of musician angels by Fra Giovanni da Fiesole, born Guido di Pietro known as Beato Angelico (Vicchio, about 1395 – Rome, February 18, 1455). The angel is a detail of the Tabernacle of the Linaioli, a marble temple by Lorenzo Ghiberti with paintings by Beato Angelico (tempera on wood 260 × 330 cm). The work is kept in the National Museum of San Marco in Florence.
